Museo Iloilo, along Bonifacio Drive, behind the Provincial Capitol, is referred to as the city's “Window to the East.” The museum showcases Iloilo's rich cultural heritage. It has a well-displayed collection iand one section is devoted to articles recovered by divers from the wreck of a 19th century British steamer lying in 7 m. of water on the Oton Shoals, off Guimaras Island.

Molo Plaza is undoubtedly one of Iloilo’s beautiful plaza especially during the holiday season where christmas lantern adorns the trees at night. Lush trees, gnarled balete trees and aged kalachuchi trees makes it a perfect spot to chill. The children’s playground needs a makeover badly though. .

Iloilo is a province of the Philippines located in the southern part of Panay Island in Western Visayas Region. It is bounded on the north by Capiz province, on the east by the Visayan Sea, on the south by the island province of Guimaras and Panay Gulf, and on the west by Antique Province. Except for the high mountains in the western part and the hills in east, most of Iloilo are flat lands.

Plaza Libertad lives up to its name as the plaza where ilonggos liberated themselves from the spanish rule. The San Jose Parish grandly faces the plaza. The city government made sure that plaza is well maintained with sprawling acacia trees and basketball court. The statue of National Hero Jose Rizal stood at the heart of Plaza Libertad.

The Iloilo Airport (IATA: ILO, ICAO: RPVI) is one of the major gateways to Panay Island and the rest of Western Visayas. Officially named Iloilo International Airport after it has been chosen between Panay International Airport and Graciano Lopez-Jaena International Airport as proposed. Although it is not yet serving international flights, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines classified it to be with the international standards. It has been inaugurated on June 13, 2007 as a replacement to the century-old Iloilo Airport in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
